What was the inspiration behind the album?
It’s taken me all my life to make this album.
I didn’t realise that until I started to write it
All of the mistakes I’ve made,
all of the lessons I’ve learned,
I really don’t think I was ready before.
I have made plenty of music already that I’m proud of but this is finally the real me.
This is what I wanted to say
the way I wanted to say it.
It isn’t about pain,
It isn’t just a release.
It is just my truth, my art.
A lot of it is looking back
trying to understand who I really am.
I felt compelled to connect with my past with this album.
To finally confront my demons before I could move on with my life.
And through making this music
I’m not afraid anymore,
I am at peace.
This is my time
and it feels wonderful!!
This is LONDON E12
How long did the album take to create from start to finish?
18 months.
Which track was written first?
Unknown.
Do you have any personal favourite tracks?
If This Is The End & We Have Come A Long Way.
Were any tracks difficult to write?
“If This Is The End” came from a dream I had where I was explaining to my father after he had died why I didn’t visit him enough in the last year of his life. The whole subject is obviously very difficult but the dream felt so real and I felt the song honours my Dad in a unique way so I was compelled to write it.
What do you have coming up in the next 12 months?
I released 4 singles from the album and 2 full production videos for “We Have come A Long Way” & “If This Is The End” I did a mini tour in January & February 2019 and was nominated for an Essex “Panic Award” for Best Solo Artist by public vote following its release.
Genre: ElectroPop
Released: 10th July 2018
