What was the inspiration behind the album?
Fallen angels / Justice [ Album story / Fallen angels descend upon earth led by the Morning Star wielding the Blade of Justice. ]
Did the pandemic have an impact when recording the album?
A lot of the dark side of the album is feeding off directly from the chaos in the collective energy caused by mentioned events and the fear mongering. I attempted to alchemize that darkness with equal uplift. The album is a battle. It’s bipolar.
How long did the album take to create from start to finish?
A year or so.
Which track was written first?
Neon Down.
Do you have any personal favourite tracks?
Lightbringer, Gothika, Blade of Justice, The Descent, Axon.
Were any tracks difficult to write?
The Descent was the most challenging to write because there’s so much going on instrumentally with the Mellotron choir voices, guitars and synths.
What do you have coming up in the next 12 months?
I have new music in the works.
