We started the first meadery in Ireland in 200 years in 2017. Mead is a fabulous fermented honey drink and is the oldest alcohol in the world. We wanted to rediscover and reimagine it for the modern world. So it’s low wine strength 12%abv and finished off dry so wonderful with food. Our honey and fruit flavours are packed full of flavour, made sustainably in our small family run meadery on the South Coast of Co. Cork. We are proud to be able to say these are judged as some of the best meads in the world.
You can visit the meadery and explore the making and tasting of mead on tours that run every Tuesday to Sunday at 2:00pm and 4:00pm but please be aware that you will need to pre-book. You can find out more here. The address is Unit 5, Barrack Lane, Kinsale, Co Cork, P17XV10 and you can find directions here.
