What was the inspiration behind the album?
Various things, but the state of living and current political climate in the UK is a recurring theme, as is mental health.
Did the pandemic have an impact when recording the album?
We formed the band in the pandemic and the album was recorded in December 2023.
How long did the album take to create from start to finish?
Two months.
Which track was written first?
Red Rag and Your Friends Don’t Have To Like Each Other, they were originally demoed for our debut album.
Do you have any personal favourite tracks?
Ian’s is Jaws and Marc’s favourite is Red Rag.
Were any tracks difficult to write?
Not particularly – we’ve been doing this for a while 🙂
What do you have coming up in the next 12 months?
We are currently recording a new EP and hope to have it out in the next few months. It’s pretty high-octane – we are really excited to see what people think. After that, we have our sights set on album 3 and festival slots in 2025.
