What was the inspiration behind the album?
It’s a concept story, it follows a relationship, friendships then the breakdown of them, there is also a follow up coming from my new group “SouthSystem”, which will deal with the aftermath and eventual resolution…
Did the pandemic have an impact when recording the album?
No.
How long did the album take to create from start to finish?
Over the course of 2 years, it deals with real life experiences I was going through as well as friends around me at the time.
Which track was written first?
Always There For You.
Do you have any personal favourite tracks?
It’s Sunny (it was written, recorded and released within a week of conception).
Were any tracks difficult to write?
“It Doesn’t Matter”, I had the verses and words, I just had to order it.
What do you have coming up in the next 12 months?
I have many projects coming, myself and the collaborators on “Phaze Two” formed a group called “SouthSystem”, we are about to drop our debut EP 4×4 on 31/10/24, I’m also working on my final solo album “The Final Chapter” which is a direct follow up on “Phaze Two”, again this will feature the same collaborators from the previous album plus a few more, I’m currently working with Evolution and featuring on some of his tracks, as well as producing and mixing for Jessie L. There is a lot to chew on over the next 12 months 🙂
